I've never smiled so much in my life until I got Invisalign. Honestly, it gave me the extra boost of confidence I needed to be me. To this day, people comment on my smile all the time. The Invisalign trays are so convenient too. When I eat, I just take them out and put them back in when I'm ready. They're easy to keep clean and look great whenever I put them back in. It's amazing what a difference you can see in my teeth. And the best part is, people don't even know I wear trays unless I bring it to their attention. I really do love my Invisalign!

My teeth were so crooked that I would NEVER show them when I smiled. From certain angles it looked as though I was missing a tooth. Invisalign has given me the confidence to smile broadly at work, home, and in pictures. The trays were extremely comfortable and easy to pop in and out for meals. I didn't have to worry about food getting stuck between brackets and wires like traditional braces, and keeping them clean was a snap. The best thing was that a close colleague had no idea I was using Invisalign until I happened to mention that I was in my final days of the program! I love my new smile and it is all thanks to Invisalign.

What is Invisalign?

It is the invisable way to straighten your teeth without braces. Invisalign uses a series of clear, removable, custom-made Aligners (they look like bleaching trays) to move your teeth gradually without metal wires or brackets.

How does it work?

A state-of-the-art computer scans an impression of your teeth to create a model of how your teeth look presently. The dentist plans how he wants your teeth to look after treatment. A very sophisticated program maps outs the movements of the teeth that will have to happen for the final result to be achieved. It then creates a series of rigid plastic trays (you will get a new tray every two weeks or so) You will visit us every six weeks or so to check your progress.

Total treatment time varies on the amout of movement thats needed- average time is 12-18 months.

Can invisalign treat my teeth?

The feedback from orthodontists and dentists that use Invisalign is that it can be used to treat all but the most severe cases. There are still some movements that will require traditional metal braces, and/or surgery to achieve. A visit to our office is all it takes to find out.

What do I have to do?

If it looks like Invisilgn is an option for you, we will take photographs, impressions of your teeth, and x-rays. This will allow us to plan out your treatment. At your next visit we will actually be able to show you how your teeth will move week by week -from start to finish- on the computer; its really amazing to see.

What does it cost? Will insurance cover Invisalign?

The cost is usually less than traditional braces. Dental insurance treats invisalign the same as other accepted orthodontic treatment methods. Many insurance plans will cover adults as well as children, they just set a lifetime payment limit.
